For Susan's jewelry art, she believes that it is quintessential to use the highest quality materials to help accomplish making a piece of high quality jewel ornament. For her own taste, she prefers mainly using natural semi-precious (precious) stone and 1/20 14 karat gold-filled or vermeil (sterling silver heavily electroplated with 22 karat yellow gold) materials for gold wrapping and other metallic components for her trinket creation; for stringing, and knotting, she uses pure silk cord. Susan uses other medium upon request.
Natural semi-precious gem stones such as Amethyst, Amazonite, Aquamarine, Citrine, Coral, Fresh Water Pearls, Garnet, Iolite, Labradorite, Mother of Pearl, Moonstone, Peridot, Quartz, Rose Quartz, Rock Crystals, Smoky Quartz, Topaz, Turquoise; precious gem stones such as Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby and many others were carefully selected and creatively orchestrated into pieces of one of its kind treasure.
