Discs of “Sleeping Beauty” turquoise were hand strung with other precious materials: tiny cube-shaped, flower-shaped vermeil beads, 14 karat gold-filled “liquid gold” (very skinny, tube-like bead), finished with a 14 karat gold-filled clasp.
